The officer's role
An HCSO is a Hospitality Shield representative who supports venues with food safety monitoring, compliance records, staff guidance and operational readiness.
This role does not replace an authorised government officer or the venue's formally appointed Food Safety Supervisor.
This is an internal Hospitality Shield compliance assessment designed to support operational readiness and continuous improvement. It is not a regulatory food safety audit, government inspection or certification of legal compliance, and does not replace an audit or inspection required by an authorised enforcement agency.

Is there a free trial of Guardian?
The 30 day free trial is for Essential. Guardian can be chosen from Billing once your account is set up, or book a demo to talk it through first.
How is Guardian billed?
All prices include GST and are charged per venue. Choose monthly billing or yearly, which is charged once a year at the lower rate.
